Hello.

Where to start? I guess I should start with thanking you for taking the time to pop over here to read what I have to say. Thank you. Truly!

When I was thinking about what I’d want to talk about, on here, my initial thought was that I should write about what’s really going on in my life. I thought about what I’d want to hear from someone that I knew, in the public eye, but in a way that didn’t seem like it had gone through a bunch of agents and publicists to make sure each post was: pitching a show, not giving away too much away, not offending anyone, or anything that could be misconstrued….and then I thought, fuck it, let’s just keep it current and honest. What’s going on in my life, each week. The highs, the lows, the drama, and how much cake I managed to ram down my gullet that week, and how I’ll do better next week, and eat like I’m not actually trying to skip my way in to diabetes.

So, what you can come to expect from my posts (other than a lot of curse words, because Im British, and trash) is a peek behind the curtain of what it’s like to be a person in the public eye, the behind the scenes of Queer Eye, how our Dream-Home build is going (we break ground in a couple of weeks), updates on our new baby (coming in a couple of months) and life as a new parent, trying to toggle baby and business. Showbusiness.

I also want to make sure those of you coming here for style tips and advice are taken care of too. So, every now and then, I’ll link some of my favorite finds. Nothing sponsored, I promise. Just things I find along the way, love, and think you might love too.

I plan to post once a week. After we get going, and after the first couple of posts, I’ll stick to posting on the same day, at the same time, so you know to look out for it.

I’d love for you to engage with me in the comments. I wanna know what you’re liking and what you wanna know more about or see more of. Just to set expectations now, I don’t plan on showing my baby boy’s face, so you don’t need to ask to see more of that, but I will be sharing so much about my life with him, and how Rob and I are coping. A little terrified about that part, as I assume we’ll feel like we’re failing miserably, at every turn, but there’s plenty of time for those tales.

This is a safe, loving, welcoming space. Everyone is welcome, as long as they are positive and kind. Any meanness will lead to you being blocked, kids, so keep it cute. I’ve worked hard over the last couple of decades to phase out the negative and surround my self with people who uplift. Let’s make that a thing here, too. Yes? Yes!

So.... shall we do this? Shall we get going? Lets!

Our move to New Orleans and starting to shoot Season 7 of Queer Eye

Well, folks, we made it to New Orleans. It wasn’t easy getting here, my gosh. Ismail had such a rough flight. We had been nervous about this flight for days, and were hoping that he would have a nice time and just enjoy being in a new setting. However, the flight was pretty much exactly when he takes his afternoon nap, which meant that we had ...

Cancelled London plans, extra time at home and gearing up to shoot a new Queer Eye.

Rob and I were planning to go to London for 5 days, as I had a work event there, and Rob was going to have his first proper break from watching Ismail and we could not have been more excited to be going away together. Our nanny was going to watching our son for 5 days, and we trust her completely. Actually, she probably does a better job of pare...

Back to shooting my favorite show, Next in Fashion, and celebrating my son’s first Eid.

Every time I come here to write a new post, I wanna start it by saying “wow, what a week”. I guess every week has felt a little bit nuts over recent years, and it just never gets old. That’s a good thing. I love the excitement I still feel.
