You guys, Next in Fashion is starting so soon. We have had a bunch of pre-production meetings, that have gone so well, and are getting us so excited to just get started.
Honestly, the main thing I’ve been working on is outfits. Because this is the second season for me, I feel not so nervous about the day to day. The first time around, I was so freakin' anxious. I felt physically sick. I didn’t know how I’d do reading a teleprompter and I was going to be wearing an inner ear piece. I had no idea how I’d do at that. I was right to worry. Both were tough, but within a few days, I got the hang of them, and they became almost second nature. If you’d told me years ago that I would be comfortable reading out loud, in front of a crew and an audience, I would have told you you’d mistaken me for someone else. Reading out loud was so traumatic for me as a kid, at school, that I never dreamt I’d end up doing it for a living.
Anyway, this time around, I'm focusing on making sure that my outfits are different, fun but not completely insane. It’s a tough balance, ya know. Because everyone wears clothes, and everyone has their own very specific idea of what’s hot, it's always interesting seeing how people respond to what I'm wearing. I’ve learnt, over the years, to do what feels right for me, and if people don’t love it, it's not really my issue and I can’t please everyone. What I will tell you is that I think my looks planned so far are so damn good. I can’t wait for you to see.
I'm writing this post from a moving car, in London, on my way to do a live TV interview about my BBC2 documentary called Beauty and the Bleach. It comes out next week, April 27th , but I have to be in the US next week, so I'm doing press a little early. I'm so excited for people to see the doc. I worked so hard on it, and was the most open I’ve ever been, so I'm hoping the UK audience will appreciate it. It won’t be available in the U.S yet. We’re hoping that it will be, at some point, if a US streamer decides to take it. Here’s hoping, as it's definitely a global issue we’re addressing in the doc.

I love being back in London, for just a few days. I don’t know if I could live here again, permanently, but I do love being here for a few days, every few months. It’s been sunny since I got here yesterday morning, and in my opinion, there’s nowhere better than London on a warm, sunny day.
When I was heading to my hotel from the airport, I was looking out of the window thinking I'm going to ditch my plans of heading straight to bed, to catch up on sleep after the long flight. Instead, I took a 3 hour stroll around the city, and went shopping. It was way more energizing than the nap I was going to take. I just wish I could have been here with Rob and Ismail. They would have loved being in the city, but this is a quick 3 day trip, which isn’t worth the upheaval for the babe.
Well, I'm pulling up to the studio in a couple of minutes, so I’ll leave it there for now. Have a great week, everyone. I'm sending so much positive energy your way.
